  1. #HalfMyDAF Campaign (opens in a new tab)

Philanthropists Jennifer & David Risher started this campaign during Covid in 2020 to inspire people to move money out of their donor advised fund accounts and into the hands of nonprofits. With the #HalfMyDAF campaign, DAF donors can submit their nonprofit contribution info to the campaign to be eligible for potential matching funds. They do two grant drawing cycles: the first cycle is spring/summer, and the second deadline is in the fall. Check out their tips/resources page on how you can share info about this campaign with your donors who give via DAFs. FYI, Mr. Risher is the CEO of Lyft.

  2. Infinite Giving (opens in a new tab)

Infinite Giving offers nonprofits a complimentary consultation. In it, their team will review your organization’s current financial picture, including a rate and fee comparison between your current funds and available market options. They also offer suggestions for fundraising with asset gifts and a discussion of endowment possibilities based on where your organization is today.

  3. GetDaffodil.com (opens in a new tab)

Daffodil gives nonprofits the tools to find funding, share outcomes, and build visibility without more reporting burden. Let me know what you think if you’ve tried it already, or give it a go.

  4. LiquiDonate (opens in a new tab)

Sign up for the opportunity to receive donated supplies for your nonprofit from local corporate/retail partners.

  5. Funding Your Mission (opens in a new tab)

Best book I’ve read about funding and investments for nonprofits. The author is based in Atlanta and runs Infinite Giving. FYI: new recommendations for keeping cash reserves on hand are 6–12 months instead of the pre-Covid recommendation of 3 months.
